I cannot believe how fast this year is going we are looking forward to another amazing year of fabulous weddings. We are so lucky to have features in Bride and Bloom, Exquisite weddings and Your Wedding Day Magazine as well as The Knot Magazine and Ceremony Magazine in San Diego and Orange County.
After 14 years I can still say this is the best job EVER !!

It is a party that I am honored to be invited to. Each year when we get the amazing over the top invitaion from the Invitation Factory I cant wait to open it and to see what theme the fabulous Paige Levy has come up with. Every year this party is spectacular and we knew we were in for a treat but even we could quite believe the transformation of the main ballroom at the Grand Del Mar. A complete carnival with games, bouncy castles, fun food, great band and even Charles in a dunk tank.. It was SO much fun being a kid again with all my peers from best of the West Coast of wedding planners, wonderful to see Nikki Khan of Exquisite Weddings and Kristin Banta of Kristin Banta events as well as the beautiful ladies from La Fete in Santa Barbara. Our San Diego group spend alot of time together and so we always have great fun.
I cannot thank Charles and Paige enough for including me in the three days of fun and laughter, it was wonderful to experience the Luxury of the Grand Del Mar and always a pleasure to spend time with the best in the industry. Thanks to Boyd Harris for these great photographs.

So thrilled that a stunning centerpiece by the talented Lavonne Crawford of Adorations Botanical Artistry has made it to the cover of Ceremony Magazine. While we are so blessed this year to be featured in Seven
National and local magazines this is our FIRST cover, This gorgeous wedding was planned for an amazing couple,Adrienne and Dale was also featured in a glamourous 6 page spread inside the publication along with four other weddings featuring floral designs by Karen Tran Florals , Jennifer Cole Florals and Embellishmint. Ceremony Magazine is one of our favorite magazines that showcases alot of the fabulous talented Vendors in San Diego. Grab a copy if you dont have one already

Brilliant photographers Braja and Gene met my clients Kim and Lyle at the venue where they will be hosting their September wedding this year..the grooms beautiful family home.
They are planning a fall wedding incorporating warm tones of oranges/rusts and burgundy with a ceremony backdrop of the beautiful custom front doors, cocktails on the balcony and dinner by the pool. Tim Altbaum will be Dj’ing in the great room which is being converted into a cool nightclub for after dinner entertainment. These photos are stunning I can’t wait to see their wedding day images.
Love Etc was the theme of the US Grant Show on Sunday and we chose the “first Blush of Romance ” as our theme. I was so delighted to collaborate on this gorgeous event with the fabulous Jennifer Cole Florals we are both romantics and love lots of flowers and details so it was a perfect match ! Jennifer designed the most stunning ceremony complete with custom lace slip covers and chair caps as well as the most gorgeous centerpieces draped with strands of Hyacynth. It is always such a treat to work with Jennifer.
Concepts Event Design provided the draping and the Gold Chiavari chairs and Classic Party rentals all the glamorous gold flatware, chargers,glassware and china. I have to put a shout out to Lori Chavez from La Tavola Linens who was so amazing and let me literally steal the linens from their showcase at the Catersource event in Las Vegas. These custom linens and chair slip covers are so stunning they really made the table look incredible. Gorgeous menus and table cards from Jennifer at JGrace.. always so beautiful.. and thanks also to Tim Altbam for the pretty lighting !

My awesome clients for July 1st Brian and Lauren had a fun engagement shoot recently with Scott Lawrence Photography incorporating all their favorite places, the ice rink,(he plays weekly !) the countryside (where they walk their cute dog) and down town San Diego (where they want to live).
We are having a great time planning their gorgeous wedding at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. There are so many personal elements being incorporated into their weekend for their guests to enjoy. Lavonne from Adorations Botanical Artistry has designed a classic soft romantic theme incorporating beautiful mauves, lavenders,creams and pale gold. Custom Wildflower linens, a stunning personalized gold dance floor and amazing lighting combined with lots of fun elements including, truffle popcorn, (the grooms favorite) photo booth with lots of “Pittsburgh” props (where they are from) and great DJ /Fusion Band from Tim Altbaum Productions, a five course extravagant menu and many more surprises. I am having so much fun planning this wedding along with Laurens lovely parents Cheryl and Garry…Thanks for choosing me …I can’t wait !

Jennifers wedding planning began with the purchase of a stunning Vera Wang gown and some incredible Valentino Lace shoes. From there the wedding design let to a chic, ultra modern wedding incorporating black and white, crystals and gorgeous details. Jennifer from J Grace enjoyed collaborating with Jennifer to design invitations and black custom menus. LaVonne from Adorations designed two distinctive and very chic centerpieces and linens, black chiavaris and custom furniture from Concepts enhanced the room. Our fun groom Zach purchased crazy socks and added a cigar bar for his groomsmen.
Leo from La Valencia was awesome to work with and I am loving the new deal at the hotel where each guest gets to design their own menu with the chef.. not only that but the guests actually get a choice of entrees made to order on the night of the wedding… WOW thats so fabulous for all you foodies out there. Photography was by the talented John Mirles from Ventana. Congratulations to a great couple..
Sarah called me and asked me if I could help her arrange a wedding for TWO on the beach by the Hotel del Coronado. ! She asked me to recommend some romantic ideas for her wedding day to Patrick and itw as fun to let her know about some of my favortie things to do..so here is how their special day unfolded. The story is told with these gorgeous images from Darin Fong photography.
1. A glass of Veuve Clicquot and hair and makeup for Sarah/ delivery of a beautiful book “what I love about you” for Patrick.
2. Preview photos on the balcony for Sarah and on the broadwalk for Patrick. 
3. Perfect timing : a beach full of people who magically left for dinner just as we were looking for the perfect spot on the beach for the pretty bamboo, crystal and orchid canopy from Tess of Tessilk flowers. 
4. An intimate wedding for two followed with Bob Stevens officiating, Michael “Gonzo” Gonzales playing his ukelele & guitar and my assistant Popeh and I holding the rings & bouquet and signing the license. (what an honor).
